Hello All Tulip Tree Families!

Welcome back! I hope everyone was able to enjoy their holidays and had a pleasant time with friends and family! The children were very eager to get back to their work and the hum in the classroom has been softer than usual! I'm looking forward to another great semester of school! The children are able to make so much progress in such a short period of time. I can't wait to see what's in store for them!

Thank you to all the families who participated in our Winterfest program. The children did a wonderful job and it was nice to see so many families who were able to attend! Big thanks to those who were able to have a cultural table and share some info on their heritage!

We have two birthdays in January. Happy Birthday to Luke and Noah! We are looking forward to their celebrations!

We have a parent education night fast approaching. We welcome you to join us on Thursday, Feburary, 2nd, at 6:30pm. Our topic is yet to be decided but we will let you know as soon as possible! I hope you can all attend!

Our playgournd is very muddy. It is encouraged to send in an extra pair of boots to remain in school that would be soley for the playground. This will minimize the amount of mud in the classroom as well as in your cars. With snow approaching it is also a good idea to send in snow pants and other winter gear.

• Books for our library - any books with plants, animals, everyday life, etc. would be great. Books pertaining to specific holidays or seasons would be very much appreciated. (No cartoons or imaginary characters, please.)
• Writing lid with tray (Montessori Services - $47.75)
• Simplest phonetic word packets (Montessori Services - $59.95)
• Longer phonetic word packets (Montessori Services - $59.95)
• Phonogram packets (Montessori Services - $69.95)
• Exterior body parts (Montessori Services - $8.95)
• Any small dishes or pitcher sets that may be used for practical life exercieses. (Montessori Services or For Small Hands)
• Any age appropriate games or puzzles in decent condition with all pieces for afternoon children's indoor recess
• Any smaller objects that correspond to different continents
• Spend time preparing shapes and paper for gluing
• Spend time cutting metal inset paper
